At Collins Family Orchard, it's all about the fruit! Their Summer Fruit CSA runs for 15 weeks from June to September and the boxes are filled with the week's best pickings of cherries, apricots, peaches, nectarines, apples, hybrid fruits, and much more! CSA members also receive a discount to purchase more fruit at the Seattle Farmers Markets!  Deliveries are made on Wednesdays to your doorstep (you must live within the City of Seattle for home delivery) or to a pre-arranged Pick-Up Site (available within the City of Seattle and the surrounding area). You also will receive a weekly e-mail with descriptions of the fruit, news from our orchards, as well as recipe ideas and tips!

Two tickets and parking to Burning Beast
Burning Beast features the talents of more than a dozen of Seattle's Finest chefs preparing sustainably raised meats and fish using humankind's most basic tool - fire. Superstar chef Tamara Murphy (Terra Plata) leads the pack and wrangles the chefs in what is sure to be another incredible and delectable feast.

 

Situated at Smoke Farm, a retired dairy in Snohomish County, proceeds from Burning Beast benefit the educational, environmental, and cultural projects at Smoke Farm.

The Honest Biscuits Experience

The founder of Honest Biscuits will take you on a private after-hours tour of the facilities, telling you all about the history and philosophy of the company. You'll get to learn about some of the amazing local farmers and producers that supply Honest Biscuits. You will get a biscuit making demonstration and of course plenty of Southern food with a Northwest twist. And you will each get an Honest Biscuits mug to take home. This is for up to 8 people.

Rama Farm Hand-felted Alpaca Rug

Spruce up your home decor with a made to order hand-felted Alpaca Rug from Rama Farm. Your rug can be either a 1'x2' oval or rectangle, and colors vary from black, brown, cream or white. Rama Farm is a family owned and operated organic farm in Bridgeport, Washington. Certified organic since 1993, the farm produces peaches, apricots, nectarines and grapes. The Rama Farm started their alpaca herd in 2003, and the herd is now up to 16 and supplies the manure to fertilize the trees and several pounds of fiber to process for additional products, such as this beautiful rug!

Start your night at The Purple Cafe & Wine Bar to grab a bite before you make your way across the street to the theater with two Paramount Theatre club seats to Postmodern Jukebox on Sunday, December 2nd, 2018 at 8 p.m. PMJ, is a rotating musical collective founded by arranger and pianist Scott Bradlee in 2011. PMJ is known for reworking popular modern music into different vintage genres, especially early 20th century forms such as swing and jazz.

Steel Wheel Farm is a small, first-generation family farm with one goal in mind: to improve the way in which produce is grown, harvested, and distributed. Everything they do is guided by their mission of being quality-driven, environmentally friendly and stewards of the land. They believe that quality food begins with the farmer, and because of that they provide only fresh, local and naturally-grown items. Take a drive out to Fall City to tour Steel Wheel Farm and bring home a pumpkin!

Marmite Cooking Class

Classes at Marmite are taught by Bruce Naftaly, the founding father of Seattle's farm-to-table movement. Cooking lessons at Marmite are a delightful evening of boisterous stories, exceptional flavors both sweet and savory, and unexpected tips and tricks from one of Seattle's greatest chefs. Two handmade aprons will also be yours and will keep you clean while you are busy in the kitchen.
